K C College of Engineering, located near Thane was established by Excelsior Education Society in the year 2001.
History :
Excelssior Education Society is an educational and charitable trust founded in 1978 and over the year as metamorphosed into an ideal educational complex. The society was founded by Dr. Mrs. Harssh Khanna and her husband Late. Mr. K. C. Khanna.
The college was established in 2001 by Excelsior Education Society offering three branches namely Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering and Information Technology Engineering. Later On 2008 Electronics Engineering was introduced.

Admissions :
K C College of Engineering has 50% admission seats reserved for the Punjabi Community. The admission process for other seats are through CAP Rounds based on MH – CET Score.

K C Engineering College admits students for undergraduate programs based on their scores in the MH-CET ( Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test ).
