Konkan Gyanpeeth College of Engineering located near Karjat was established by The Konkan Gyanpeeth in the year 1994.
History :
Konkan Gyanpeeth Trust has Arts, Science and Commerce College and Rahul Dharkar College of Pharmacy and Research Institute. The Degree engineering college was established by the visionary Hon. Late P. N. Dharkar, with the sole aim of providing high quality education to students in the field of Engineering and Technology.
The college is completely self financed and Currently 1,700 students are enrolled in six different disciplines.

Konkan Gyanpeeth College of Engineering has no admission seats reserved for any Community. The admission process for seats is through CAP Rounds based on MH – CET Score.

The Engineering College is situated on small hill that maintains fresh atmosphere along with panoramic view of adjacent which remain green in all season. The College is spread in vast 31 acres, of areas.
The college has well architectural building and furnished classrooms and laboratories.
The Campus also consists of 3 boys’ hostels with a combined capacity for 120 boys and girls hostel with a capacity of 40.
The campus has recreation facilities like basket-ball court, a foot-ball ground, a cricket field, a volley-ball court and indoor sport activities like a badminton court and tennis-tables.

The Library is well stocked with Textbooks, Reference books, and Technical Journals & Periodicals, proceedings of IEEE Seminars. It has precious collections of over 17,429 books and around 20 different periodicals – both international as well as domestic.
