Atharva College of Engineering was founded by Atharva Educational Trust in 1999 at Borivali, Mumbai. Atharva Educational Trust through its curriculum and co-curricular actives aims at all- round development of students.
History :
Gopinath Munde ( Ex-Deputy Chief Minister Of Maharashtra ) is the President of the Atharva Educational Trust.
The College was located in a temporary building adjacent to M K college of Borivali and in the premises of a junior school in Borivali. Later it moved onto its own campus in Charkop, Malad (West) in 2001. The college has again and again performed well and credit goes to the management.

Atharva College participated and won the National Level Innovation Award for the Eweek 2009 Championship.

Admissions :
Atharva College of Engineering has no admission seats reserved for any community. The admission process for seats is only through CAP Rounds based on MH – CET Score.

Atharva Engineering College admits students for undergraduate programs based on their scores in the MH-CET (Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test).

Festivals / College Events :
1) 'Rhythm' - Rhythm is the college's annual festival, taking place in even semesters.
2) 'Techithon' - is a technical festival of the college in odd semesters targeting recent technology. Each year Techithon has some special theme.
3) 'Atharva cha Raja' - Ganesh Utsav is also a part of the college's festivals.
Rock Shows are very well liked during festivals. It attracts a huge crowd.

Better infrastructure, Well maintained Campus, area & locality, Training & Placements are plus points for this college. Canteen is just awesome & is managed by Hotel Management staff. Crowd is friendly.
